After spending time in a wheelchair, Dory realized that there was a need for adaptive wear. A local woman called asking if she could make a cape for her mother who spent considerable time in a wheelchair. She set out to design Capes and Shawls that could accommodate those using a wheelchair and surround them with elegance , warmth , comfort and style.
